The originator of the crisis is singer-songwriter and poet Theodora Glacová, along with her husband - guitarist David Sasín. Together with them, bassist Milan Hřivňák, guitarist Jiří Taraba, and percussionist Hanka Hřivňáková participate in the creation.
The history of the band began at the end of 2021, when one of the first Krize concerts took place at the Parník club. Throughout 2022, the band operated as a musical duo of Theodora and David, but in 2023, other musicians gradually began to join. Jiří Taraba with electric guitar, Milan Hřivňák with bass guitar and his wife Hanka with rhythm. This created an unexpectedly rich ensemble, which still fits into one common van.
The author of the music and lyrics is Thea Glacová. She has been passionately involved in music since early childhood. She was expelled from elementary art school (due to an alleged lack of talent), but she then began to find her own path to music all the more courageously. She wrote her first songs at the age of nine. At the age of sixteen, she interrupted her musical creation and began to devote herself exclusively to written lyrics. After a long time (we will not specifically state the age of the woman), however, these two activities met again and naturally connected. The lyrics supported by the music began to gain intensity and experience. Everything began to fit together beautifully and make sense. The marital crisis was only a step away from its creation! That moment came one night when David listened to the composition he had just composed and uttered the memorable sentence: “but this isn’t stupid at all!” He took Thea’s guitar, asked her for the chords, and they have been playing together ever since.
